Description

I started out buying a used turd that ran fortnite just not very well so started upgrading. I first replaced the old intel cpu with the ryzen 2600x a new b450 mother board and 16gb of ram. Shortly after I bought a new rgb case and power supply(case not listed only there to reflect price case is a musetex 907 I believe). A few weeks later I bought a 144hz monitor and surprisingly on low settings I got 144fps consistent with a xfx radeon 470x. Today I got my 1070ti duke and on almost all ultra settings I'm at 144hz. Very very pleased!

Surprised you noticed lol it was and I knew nothing about computers at 1st and thought something was off when I couldnt feel any air blowing out. Eventually figured it out and switched it

So, what's original, the DDR4? If so, that couldn't have been a very old "old intel cpu."

I'm not positive but paid 100 bucks for the whole thing and it barley ran fortnite so I just rebuilt it

Think I understand now I'm a pc noob lol. The original ram was ddr3 it was two older 4gb sticks with no heat shield. I ordered ddr4 corsair vengence ddr4 ram and it didnt fit the original motherboard so I then bought the b450 motherboard and the ryzen cpu

I meant more along the lines of the clean end production photos to be moved so that they are the first ones seen.

What Intel CPU did that computer have when you bought it for $100? Doesn't look like too much of a turd, but your new rig is definitely an improvement.

Well it may not be just kind of assumed it was cause it ran really bad was worth the 100 definitely. The only part I know for sure is a i5 3450. Thank you definitely more than happy with the new one

For sure, that CPU with a 470x is definitely a good deal for $100. Thanks for sharing.

Hi again, just saying that your set up on the last photo is beautiful. Is your monitor on your case? Also, where is your keyboard and mouse? Just asking.

I dont have a full desk yet so the monitor is on the stand and the keyboard is on the shelf it's just not in the picture I play with controller so it's a cheaper keyboard and mouse think its sportsbot

Nice! My build I did mid last year is: Asus b450-f, Ryzen 5 2600x, Asus rtx 2070 08g (overclocked and has 3 fans), 16gb ddr4-3000mhz ram, Samsung pro 970 1tb, an evga gold 750w power supply and a corsair (carbide spec-06) case, with the aorus ad27qd monitor.

Damn that sounds awesome how is that graphics card I looked into ot but was a little outta my budget

It is awesome! Any game I've tried playing so far in 2k (monitor upscales to 4k 60hz, native 2k at 120hz with hdr, & FHD at 144hz with hdr & costed as much as my as my gpu but is by far cheaper than similar monitors) has been by default set to ultra. I'm in Canada and paid $700 for the graphics card around May 2019.

I wanted an rtx 2080 but once I looked at the price it was a nope haha

Edit: $1481.29 is the price of my build (usd) if I bought the parts now...not including the monitor because pcpartpicker doesn't have the price.
