Description

Recently uploaded my son's bumblebee pc build and decided my daughter needed her own. Mainly wanted something she would enjoy. She's loves that turquoise blue color (frozen movie) and I found this special edition case at Frys electronics. Didn't want to go too crazy with this build (just spent money upgrading my sons) but also wanted enough to last for a while. My daughter isn't a big gamer. She's plays minecraft and now a couple games through origin so a higher end graphics card would've been a waste. I think the budget friendly parts list worked out well and overall was an enjoyable build (except cable management). Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think.

This is so sweet and a great build for your daughter. Well done with the choice of parts and may she enjoy her PC for a long time. Though I'm certain she is already. You have my one and support.

Awesome looking budget build! +1 for proving that beautiful builds don't have to be i7-7700k/1080 Ti SLI

Looking like mine will wait till next year. I'm sure a lot in the PC world will change by then. I'm satisfied borrowing one of theirs till then!

She's loving it. I'm just proud she is using the keyboard/mouse for most games. My son is stuck using a controller because he's been playing xbox most of his life.

Thanks! Yeah I know some parts were more than needed but it's for my daughter. Had to think about the appearance to.

I really like the aesthetic of the build, and the custom cables was a nice touch, i think you should get a white monitor to complete the look.

I already had a Samsung white monitor picked out but don't have the $150 just yet to get it. It will happen eventually though!

Fantastic budget build. Dont see the Asiahorses very often, they look great. Hope your daughter loves it!

She does love it. The asiahorse fans are really quiet to. This build is very quiet for having 6 fans in it (counting cpu cooler).

Very cool color scheme. I just used those fans in a friends build. They look so cool! +1 from a fellow who also just completed his daughters pc.

i like this build but this cpu is a quarter as expensive as the motherboard xD

I believe you mean 1/2 but I get the point. :)

no... in germany this cpu is ~50 and the motherboard ~200

Motherboard was chosen for it's white layout and also had an RGB header. It's a bit much but was going for looks with this PC.

Great looking build. +1

I take the cooler choice was purely for aesthetics as a Pentium CPU can easily be cooled by its included stock cooler.

Yeah, I had 4 of the white LED asiahorse fans that were suppose to be for my gaming rig and needed to show them off in this build somehow. $20 for a 212 evo seemed fine with me. On the plus side, temps look excellent! Lol

Seems like a lot of money for just a g4560/gtx 1050 ti build, but it looks so nice I forgive it lmao

Yeah, I went a bit overboard on the motherboard because on wanted a nice looking white board that had an RGB header. Plus I got the cooler mainly to mount the asiahorse fans that I had on hand before this build. What can I say, it's my daughter, I had to make it "pretty".

Great display of the less performance oriented aspects of the hobby. Having a beautiful build that is personalized to the user is such a cool part of building PCs. I can't wait to do something like this with my daughter. She is three and not quite ready for a full size computer for herself but she has been helping me build computers since she was just a year old. I have a 9 inch netbook that I want to set her up with as the keyboard is just the right size for her tiny hands. Companies should make more kid sized peripherals, I would be all over that.

My daughter is 8. I thought about a cheap laptop but after giving up on building my gaming rig for a while it made sense to build my son & daughter a decent pc for them to game/do homework on for a few years. I enjoyed trying to match what she liked, plus her room is accented with a lot of white/turquoise so it all came together nicely.

Could you tell me the name of the fans by any chance?

They are Asiahorse Solar Eclipse fans. You can find them on Amazon for around $20 for a pack of two.

Lol.. Little of both. I actually had budgeted for a nice mid-range gaming rig but decided to split the budget and build my son & daughter a pc instead of me. Mine will have to wait a year or so. But I do like getting on there with them for some gaming.
