Description

This is my first build ever. I built this machine strictly to play World of Warcraft, browse the web and watch Netflix (for now). This is a perfect pc for a lower end budget and entry leveling gaming. Putting it all together was a breeze, the NZXT S340 is a very very nice case to build into. I chose this case for aesthetic purposes, as well with some of the nice features that the case has. (I realize it isn't a low budget case). The pictures are from before doing some cable management inside the case.

The PSU is certified refurbished and I got a great deal on it at micro center, no problems whatsoever with it.

I haven't had a single problem running this machine, or installing a single thing. The only thing I would be careful of is securing the GPU because it is very bulky.

I manage maxed out settings on WoW (10), without using the GPU tweaker, and average ~70-75 fps most of the time. (Outside of super crowded areas). GPU and CPU stays nice and cool under load (I know WoW isn't a demanding game)

This machine is also very capable of playing a lot of more damanding games such as witcher or battlefield, at fairly high graphics.

The monitor has a brilliant, vibrant display that makes colors pop, it's beautiful for the price.

The Toshiba OCZ SSD 120 gig is also pictured but not listed. Got it for around 40-50 bucks.

I also added a Sengu Bamboo Wirelwss keyboard and mouse, because it looked nice. Well put together and feels nice to type on.

P.s. Excuse my messy desk

Very nice for a sub $600 build. Looks like you did your research. Just a few questions, why did you buy a ATX case and a micro-ATX motherboard? Also, can you not move the motherboard cable to come up from behind?

I can, I still need to play around with the cables. I've just been playing the dang thing too much to get around too it haha

Also, I bought the case because one day I plan on putting a full atx in there. Couldn't pass up the appearance, either.

Maybe you might want to plug the dvi into the graphics card

That picture is from before I actually plugged one into the graphics card. Just showing the backside of the case

I think that's the best GTX 950 of all, cos it doesn't require a pcie power connector

Have you tried any other games on the GPU, AAA titles? Curious about the results as it's a low power gpu. +1
