Description

I will be updating this build description as I have time to do so. More photos are forthcoming.

Hi. As the title suggests, this is my 1st gaming PC build. I have built other systems, but none quite to this extent. The rig was built for gaming, but I also plan to use the system as a media/storage device. As such, I will eventually be installing 13x Seagate Barracuda Pro 10Tb HDDs. I will also add another 32Gb of RAM if prices ever come down to reasonable levels.

Awesome build. Just one question, why so much storage?

Ty :) I will need that amount of storage not only for games, but also media and programs. There is 31Tb in it right now, but of that I have about 9 Tb left

What kind of "Media and programs?" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Lmao, you guys are funny :) Seriously though, the media is simply movies, tv shows, music, etc. Id like to make a media server, though sadly im not entirely sure how to go about it. I'm open to suggestions if you guys have any info.

Are you also gonna do any media creation?

You can never have too much storage.

A pretty good PC, it's good looking, but seems to be empty. You can handle easily this system even with a 850w PSU, but 1500w is way too much.

Maybe in future you will make a custom watercooled build. :D

I agree it does look sorta empty in that picture. I bought the 1500w with future watercooling/ gpu upgrades in mind. I would rather have more than enough than not enough. Plus I liked the features of the 1500w

30TB OF STORAGE???? IN RAID?????? MOTHER OF MERCY!!!! AND AN SSD????? WHAT AND WHY?

Lol. By the time I'm done with upgrading storage, it'll have a total of 130TB. The SSD simply has the OS (Windows 10 Enterprise) on it. I will put a few games that need to load faster onto the SSD as well. By having the OS on the SSD, my system has a total boot time of 12 seconds
