great job on your first build! Now save up and pop a RTX 2060 in it and rock and roll!

RX 580 pulls between 220 and 245 watts, the RTX 2060 pulls between 150 and 175 watts.

not agree because it will require more wattage

so it's a bang for bucks matter, even if he keeps his 450 w (that is already low for the rig) an rtx 2060 cost +- 430$ for 20 fps more btw 2060 will be bottlenecked by cpu so he mad a good build for a budget 1080 p i do have a 2060 and it isn't worth the upgrade

False, i5 8400 is among great pairs for 1080p 144hz next to 5 2600 and 8600k/9600k. 2080 + 8400 is where bottleneck becomes visible on 1440p/4k.

my 8600k stock botleneck my 2060 stock here is a quick example:

on time spy

i5 8600k stock + rtx 2060 : 7600pts i5 8600k stock + rtx 2060 oc :7900 pts i5 8600k stock + rtx 2060 manual oc max 2100mhz : 7900 pts i5 8600k oc + rtx 2060 stock : 7800pts i5 8600k oc + rtx 2060 manual oc max : 8300pts most of the score is made by graphic score, cpu score is negligible (from lower to higher 400pts gpu gain 700 pts its not the more explicit but it is reliable).

timespy user D.bauchery have a look.
