Description

This was my first build and everything went fine except the radiator was a little to long for the holes on top and bumped into a capacitor that was on the usb port and fan controller on top the case so I had to drill some new holds but all in all every thing was smooth. Please let me know what you think. next week i will start trying to overclock.

Great build love the red phantom 410 i had a 530 and had to drill some holes for a rad as well the existing holes dont allow for a 240mm to be mounted between the top of the cage and the plastic shell the pipes get in the way.

Increíble ordenador para gaming pero personalmente no me gusta la carcasa, a parte de eso es genial.

Why do yo you have the fan on the side panel, front, and bottom all pulling air away from your graphics, there are only two fans bringing air in, and that has to go through a radiator?

I was trying to remove as much heat as possible from the video card do you think it would be better to have the front 2 fans pull air in to the system then out though the back bottom and side.

I noticed this as well, you should have intakes from the front fans, bottom fan, and side fan, and the top and back fans should be pulling the air out. heat naturally rises, so having those top fans pull in is just making it warmer in the case. also the more positive airflow you can have coming in with dust filters, the less likely you are to get dust from any cracks around the case as excess air pressure will push out through there instead of pulling dust into the case.

Great, Great build! This is one of the tidiest looking builds for a first time pc builder! I love your part choice and everything! One question where did you get those cable extensions? for your GPU and Mobo?

Frys Electronics I also have to replace the bottom ones because i got a 8 pin to 8pin not a 6 to 8 but that should take about 5 min.

I can do the fans in front and the side but because the radiator had to go on top of the case had to put the fans under and wanted to do a pull with the fans so that it is easier to keep the radiator clean.

I agree Diamond but the radiator would not fit inside the case because the motherboard butts right up to the top of the case so i had to improvise but i will be changing the other fans around the input has been very helpful and i have a better understanding of what i need to do next time around thanks again.

Xdenttim is right i want to stream and all the research i have done states that for the price the 8 core is better at handling streaming and gaming.

the 8370 is better in area's then the 4690k. if you think about the 4690k only has a lead in gaming and power for core. but if you put the 8370 in a scenario with the 4690K. lets say he's wanting to stream on twitch playing GRID 2 a very cpu intensive game it can use up to 6 cores if you let it. and video render in 1080p why he doing it what cpu would when in that scenario. plus the 4690k is more expensive if you want a decent mobo with it.
