Description

Hi guys ! I have not had a PC for roughly 6 months now. It's been stale, it's been boring, and being a PC gamer since I was like 9, it's felt like something huge was missing from my life. So where did my PC go? Well 6 months ago, I had to sell it. You can find that PC on my profile. I had to sell it because I couldn't make rent that month. I was living with my girlfriend at the time, things were horrible , I was going through depression, self harming, calling the suicide prevention hotline. It was my first time being independent along with being in a toxic relationship. Three months ago, I grabbed all my belongings and got out ASAP. I've been saving up money and I finally got myself a PC again. I'm doing much much better now and I snagged a better job than I previously had.

thanks for reading.

Exchanging a toxic girlfriend for a sweet gaming rig sounds like a pretty fine upgrade to me!

Can we see more? The pc from the little we've seen looks beautiful. Very glad that you're doing better as well, it always sucks having to deal with toxic people, but from the sounds of it you're better off now. :)

Think so? I haven't used this PC yet for any games, so not sure about the performance yet, kinda sure but not sure if that makes any sense

and thanks !

Yeh the sli 970 weren't bad I'm assuming, but this will be much less buggy as it's a single gpu, and just more powerful in general

Glad to hear you're doing better, life is too short for toxic people! Like Joseph mentioned, some full shots would be cool

Yeah you're right. But you know what's crazy? I was living with this girl, paying the rent or as well as a 20 year old with a ****** job can. I even sold something that meant alot to me. this was my first love and relationship, I did so much for her. I found out that she immediately just found a new guy in like 2 days after. Idk feels like I can never love again, I haven't talked or really interacted with a female in a while. besides customers when I'm forced to at work but now when I look at a girl or see an attractive one I don't feel anything and the mental thought of being with another person like makes my body limp and drains the energy out of my body.

anyway I just rambled my bad

Hell yes. Getting back into it myself similar issues with depression.. finishing up a major upgrade of pretty much my whole rig except the PSU, monitors, GPU and peripherals. Im excited to see the final product.

Aye mane hang in there. As someone whose going through depression what I can say is FIND AN OUTLET. like something that just preoccupies you. for me I smoke marijuana daily and its a definite lifesaver and obviously video games. when you feel the going gets tough go find something to do. something that'll make you focus and zone you out. and yeah man I'll be sure to check out that Rig!

If the pc you put together does somehow resemble your current status, I'd say you're much better off now than before.

Congratz on the build and the life changing decision.

Computers and cars don't get insolent and never talk back. Glad to see you're free again. Are you happy with the CPU temps you're getting using that cooler? I just ordered the same setup. Thanks
