Description

I recently got a used MSI GTX 1080Ti from a friend so decided to make a new build. Some parts(tomahawk mobo, Inland professional SSD, a pair of trident 8GB, a few NZXT aer fans, and a EVGA G3 750W psu) I either took from a previous pc or bought in the past as backup.

I want the red/black theme so did some research. The rest of the stuff I bought are a Ryzen 2700x, a MIS Core Frozr L, and a NZXT H500. the Core Frozr L comes with an extra black cover so I tried it on(see the photos), later on still like the original silver one a little better so switched them back.

I feel I could buy a few better parts like a x470 Gaming Carbon or a Samsung SSD but already spent too much moneny these days, and the old ones worked just fine. Finally put all of them together over the weekend, it looks great!

Right now, this fan config has no intakes. I recommend flipping the front fans to intake, cause right now the case is in an extreme negative pressure situation.

Thanks man. yea, I didn't even think about the airflow, that's my mistake.. I'm gonna flip the two fans in the front.

As FurryJackman said I'd recommend flipping the fans for intake and a better SSD if you'd like but other than that looks great

Love the look of this, but the negative air pressure situation you've got going on there isn't great. I understood why you did it for aesthetics, but I'm sure your temps could do better.

you really need to flip those front fans over, i know you wanna use it that direction because of the rgb but, your pc has no airflow right now, its just exhausting every air it has in there.

Did you have to update the bios on the b350 board for the b350 board? I am looking to pick up the same board for my friend and we would be putting a 2600 in so if the bios needs to be updated I would have to pick up a different motherboard.

My mobo came with the latest bios which supports Ryzen 2000, should be the same for most of the other boards. if you wanna get the 2600 i would suggest go with a b450 or x470, those are designed for Ryzen 2000

Great snag on that 1080ti! Awesome card. And a sweet build, too. I have the same card and am beginning my own MSI black/red build around it so this was cool to see. Your cooler has me drooling.
