This was my first build and was sort of a budget build, I got some expensive parts and some budget parts as I am going to upgrade in the future (bigger case, better fans, better CPU/GPU) but at the moment I am very happy with it! I was gaming on a laptop before so...

I guess so. It just sounds lame to look at a build that someone has worked really hard on, both physically and creatively, and immediately say "why didn't you buy this part instead?" as if that never crossed their mind.

I understand, if you see something that you think could have been done better I think you should say it so the other person could learn or at least see the way you view things even if you were wrong

This is still a solid gaming build for most titles at decent settings in 1080p. Yes better parts could have been chosen but the CPU is plenty powerful to handle games for some time to come, not to mention once you save up for a better GPU, game performance will be mostly dependent on GPU power. Plus you could probably get a secondhand i7 for this socket pretty easily further down the road.

Decent budget build! PSU is definitely over kill and you could have saved there.

I over specified on some parts so I wouldn't have to worry about upgrading them in the future :)
