Well hello there lovely PCPP-community
Earlier this year i built my very first PC "Kerstie". It had a G4560 and a 1050 Ti in it. All in all a great budget system and I was very happy with it. BUT (there is always a big fat round butt) when I finished the build and checked my bank account to see how poor i was now: BADABING BADABANG! There was a 11 with two zeroes behind it. I actually had more money than I thought (I know, I was surprised too). So basically i would have had the money to build myself a high-end system because I didnt spend much at the beginning of the year. I was a bit pissed at myself for not checking my moneh beforeI built the system. But moving on. In the summer my Grandparents moved and I helped my Grandfather move all of his Photography equippement to the new appartement. He was a photographer so there was a lot of stuff. And I also helped to move furniture and other things. I worked hard for a week and I would have done it for free but my grandfater gave me 600 bucks which was super nice of him since I never asked for any money. So that covered my Monitor. Eventhough i still had the 1050 Ti in my system I wanted a 1440p, 144Hz and G-Sync monitor badly. To futureproof my setup. I was surprised how good the 1050 Ti handled 1440p. CS:GO had no issues to run at 150+ FPS. Rainbow Six Siege ran at a steady 60 FPS on mid - high settings at 1440p. I was even able to play PUBG at 1440p at very low settings at around 30-40 fps. And i preferred 1440p over 1080p in pubg because 1080p on a 1440p monitor looked washed out in pubg. So I started to look around for a summer job to fund an i7 and a gtx 1080. I got a bit jealous at my friend since he has a 1080 in his rig "Bert", which i built for him. So I got a 3 week summer job and earned 2000 bucks which was really cool (and yes wages even for students at crappy jobs are higher here in switzerland). And like one and a half weeks ago i saw that there was a strix 1080 Ti 11G gaming on sale for 789.- I jokingly told my parents if they would pay one half of the video card for me as an early christmas and birthday gift. They actually thought about it and 2 days later we ordered it and I couldn't believe it. I never actually expected them to "sponsor " me the card and I am extremely grateful for it. The I realized that I needed a new PSU and better CPU since my 450W and my Pentium weren’t gona cut it. The same day I ordered the 750W platinum PSU by Seasonic (I just love their PSUs) and the locked i7 7700 (since i have the B250 chipset and i didn’t want to buy a new motherboard). Yesterday i got around installing everything and it booted up right away! The gaming performance is absolutely stunning! Only got around playing PUBG yesterday evening: 1440p and ultra settings I get around 95-115 FPS. I only used the ingame Benchmark in RB:SS with ultra settings and TSAA x4 got me 116 avg. FPS. I’m super happy with my system and I can’t wait to play more games on ultra. I wanna thank the PCPP community since they helped with a lot of problems and I learned very much on this site. I also learned from my silly little first-time builder mistakes and now i know better for future builds. Hope all of you have a great weekend!
Works like a charm! Installed it with no problems and it never goes over 70°C even with the little CPU cooler I have. Makes a great combo with the 1080 Ti.
Had no issues applying it and keeps my CPU cool
Performance is stunning and it looks really sexy! In my 100R case that has horrible airflow it never goes above 64 °C when I play games. The only downside is that there are two tiny LEDs that are always on even when the PC is switched of. Since I have a side-window I have to turn the PSU off every night cuz it annoys me when I want to sleep.. but thats not really a big deal.
Seasonic premium quality! A great platinum PSU for a fair price! Exceptiona build-quality and has 10 year warranty! Also makes almost no noise! Recommend this PSU :D
Love everything about he monitor! only downside it has quite a bit color banding with darker colours. But the issue is only really visible for me while watching a video.. on PUBG, rainbow six siege, bioshock and crysis 3 is basically not noticable. Dell makes excellent monitors but they need to work a bit on their TN panells.
Love it! The feeling of the buttons is great and you are able to customize the colors the way you want! definitely recommend if you are looking for a cheaper RGB keyboard that has sstill great quality.
Love this mouse! I strongly recommend it
Bought this one on sale after my old turtle beach one broke. Love it so far. Great audio/mic quality and build quality seems great too.
You get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, I think for this price they are great for cheap PC speakers. sound quality is fine but could be better.
It's huge... trust me.. it is huge.. i should have gotten the smaller one
