No OC, everything stock, looks to be around 65-70 full load, 33ish idle. I haven't messed with anything in the bios yet. This cpu tends to be warmer than normal, so these temps are completely normal.
Well, it would create a positive airflow and your cpu temps will improve. As it is now your fans a choking since they are pulling the air from the case
When I put my hand to the outside of the case, I feel hot air being expelled. Is that not the most ideal situation? The top case fan is intake btw. As I said, I'm new to water cooling so if you could shed some more light on the situation, I'd very much appreciate it.
I think what vitexo is saying is that pulling the relatively cooler air from outside the case would provide better cooling for the radiator. It's best if fans on top are exhaust since the hot air will rise. I have the same case and added two 80mm fans at the back just for some extra airflow, as I'm getting ready to install the Corsair h100 v2.
Sum up (from what I understand), bottom and front should be for intake, top and back for exhaust.
Sweet build man! +1
Also, how big of a difference is having a 144Hz monitor compared to 60Hz? Is it mind-blowing enough to spend an extra ~$200?
Thanks for your input, and I definitely will change that in the future. And yes, the difference is MASSIVE. It's as big of a difference as wearing your prescription glasses, not even joking, haha.
No, decided not to. It's possible I may add one in the future, but the Hybrid drive is truly amazing. And for the price- you can't beat it! It performs very well.
This is basically my dream build. Everything from the rgb 1070 to the MG248Q to the Air 240. Just beautiful. Love a minimalistic and simple look that is still eye catching. Also nice keyboard choice as well
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I wanted a subtle and clean look. The only downside is that since my desk is black, I see dust a lot haha. It's not to bad, just dust it ever couple days.
Hi, Im planning on building my first PC and I dont know if I should save up and wait to get the GTX 1070 Founders Editon but I really like the look of the card you used and I see that it has 1070 on the name. Can you tell me if if I should save up or does this card match up to the founders edition? Thank you.
Could you check out what I have in mind for my build and recommend any parts that I should change or remove? Thankyou. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qnwt2R
