Description

Here is my gaming PC that I built 2 and a half years ago and only had a few upgrades since then. One of these upgrades being the Second AMD 6870. This still runs modern games at high/ultra. The CPU is overclocked to 4.4 Ghz. The case is an Antec eleven hundred which provides plenty of airflow to both GPU's thanks to the 2 intake fans with a third fan just in front of the top GPU.

Any questions regarding this build I will be happy to answer.

I'd get a beefier PSU, other than that nice build :)

On this website, the system does not use more than 421 watts so i think this PSU is fine. And thank you :)

I was just going off the tdp for the 6970s which is 500 a piece plus the total system power draw was over 700 which is why I said that

All good

great build +1 and ya those cards will be fine for a while. I had a single 6850 until recently and even it could run most modern games on medium settings. 2 6870s on cfx are still pretty great.

Thanks man! Yeah they're solid cards, but i feel the 1GB does hold them back abit

+1 because it's a pretty nice build for 2 and a half years ago.

Hi! Nice build. I am curious about your impressions on the Eleven v2-- I am considering it myself, for a build with a similar cooler (liqtech 120x). I can't seem to find any reviews of this case online. Can you tell me how you think the case performs with your cooling and also how loud it is? (both fan noise and noise leaking from your hardware.)

Also any general observations would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am quite happy with the case because of the amount of things you can fit in it and how good the airflow is. The only thing that is not so good is the watercooling because it does not allow a 240mm radiator in the roof without modding

Hi, thanks for the input. I bit the bullet and bought one myself. Since I have a 120mm AIO liquid cooler, it should be all good. I'm psyched! Thanks again for taking the time to reply!

Quick question: I have the Eleven Hundred V2 as well and was wondering where you got the modded window with no fan mounts? Price? But great build :)
