Description

This is my fourth gaming computer and second using PETG hardline water cooling. My first water cooled computer was a custom hand made desk build, but due to a move I am forced to "downsize" (even though this case is massive). There are a lot of components from the desk build Ive reused such as the waterblocks, pumps, GPU's ect.The MOBO, CPU and RAM are all new additions to this build. I needed to find a case that could house the two separate 480 mm radiators used for the two full loops. Luckly the Tower 900 has plenty of room for all of that.

In vein of doing everything over the top I chose to go with a hardline loop with hand cut and painted acrylic panels to help fill out the case. The panels are made with ⅛ “ and ¼ “ acrylic, but if I had to do it again I would just stick with ⅛” panels. The acrylic is attached to the case using a two sided 3M tape. Everything is painted using Rustolium's "Universal" brand spray paint and the patterns were masked off using painters tape. All of the PETG is hand bent without the use of a bending jig (I tried one once and it was a total nightmare). The loop is colored with Primochill’s TRUE Opaque additive. Only one case mod was made at the top of the case; a cutout for the hard drive bays.

My favorite (and also the hardest) was making the shroud for the center enclosure. At first I tried bending a sheet of acrylic to match it, but I had no luck. I settled with cutting flat pieces of acrylic, bonding them with super glue then sanding the edges to match the angles of the shroud. I am a huge fan of the band Coheed and Cambria which is why I chose to put the logo for “The Afterman” album front and center. The build name “All Mother” is also a direct reference to the band.

It was a very challenging task to take on and if I did it again I would definitely do some things differently. All-and-all I am extremely happy with how this build turned out. I had a lot of fun building this and I hope you guys enjoy the build as much as I do.
