Description

I built this computer primarily for gaming with some room for future upgrades (i.e Intel i9 and Nvidia RTX). This is my third build and possibly the best build I ever had. This is also a completely air cooled design.

The tinted glass in combination with Asua Aura looks amazing and does not look too flashy. I have not had a chance to overclock the CPU or GPU yet but will eventually do so.

One of the problems with this build is the motherboard's USB 3.0 Gen 1 connector was not aligned to a grommet. The graphics card and the already tight space did not allow me to connect the chassis's USB 3.0 I/O port to the motherboard. I had to get a USB 3.0 Gen 2 to USB 3.0 Gen 1 adapter in order to connect the ports. Other than that, it was an extremely smooth build.

I am quite pleased with the aesthetic and performance of this build.

Yeah, I don't know what to do with that RGB hump. I want the strip but the hump is bothering me. Lol!

The fan looks too big to the point where the RAM is almost not visible.

Hey, looks amazing. You did a great job. Quick Question though, according to Fractal Design, the meshify c can only fit up to a 175mm long power supply, the rmx series is 180mm. How did you get that PSU in there without removing your hard drive cage?

There is support in the basement for a single drive mounted directly to the floor of the case. Probably removed the cage and it freed up just enough room to fit.

I did not know that about the case. Thank you.

Yeah, I had that problem originally and was going to go with another PSU but I saw that Corsair re-released updated RMx PSUs for 2018 that were only 160mm.

Awesome. Corsair never put the destinction between the two on their website on their website. Thank you so much.

I have a very similar build albeit in m-itx form and am equally happy with its aesthetics/performance. Pleased to see another builder make use of Optane - it has served my usage wonderfully well.

I'd love to see an image from the back to see your cable management!

I am disgusted by the cleanliness.

Yes, temps aren’t crazy high but you can add an extra fan if needed.

The chromax has various colors so you pick what works for you.
