First time build and had a lot of fun doing it. This build has been a while in the making. I started purchasing parts around January of this year and just finished the water cooling system the other day. I tend to want to have the nicer things if I'm going to be buying stuff, so I really didn't have a problem stretching my budget out over time to finish this. Even though I finished it in early May, I decided that I wanted to go one step further and build a custom loop for it. I will be using this

CPU: It's served me well so far and does everything I need it to do while I run it at 4.2GHz @ 1.23v. Not much else to say about this other than I got it to 4.7GHz @ 1.38v.

GPU: Purchased this in late April when prices were coming down to MSRP for AMD cards. Been pleasantly surprised with it's performance so far and there isn't a game I can throw at it that drops below 60fps at 1080p max settings. The coolers on this fan did a sufficient job when they were in use. Under full load i'd be around 78c playing games like BF4, Crysis etc.

Motherboard: I'm kind of on the fence about this one. I like the way it performs and it's BIOS/features but man, the brown PCB is ugly. Besides that, it's been great and accommodates all of my stuff just fine for the price. I'll probably upgrade to z97 and a 4790k soon anyways and make sure it has a black PCB.

RAM: It's RAM lol. I'm looking to get 8 more GB soon around Black Friday and slapping a water cooling heat sink to it though.

SSD: Man this thing is fast. I've really enjoyed using this SSD and have appreciated the speed icnrease it gives you over a traditional hard drive. There is nothing wrong with a HDD but if you don't have one of these you should look into one, especially since the prices are dropping.

Case: It wasn't the ideal water cooling case but i managed to make it work, especially for all of the crap I got goin on in this thing. The cable management is pretty decent but it was a little difficult with the amount of things I have running in here.

Cooling: Water blocks: XSPC Razor 290 with a backplate and for the CPU I got an XSPC Raystorm. I'm running the swiftech mcp 655 5 speed variable with a phobya 150 balancer, PrimoChill Adcanced LRT tubing 1/2 ID x 3/4 OD and a slim 360mm rad being pushed with 3 corsair SP120 High Performance editions.

Keyboard: Saving up for that Corsair RGB but until then, this $10 one is fine.

Mouse: The only other thing worth mentioning! This mouse is great! I've tried several other mouses like Corsair, Razer etc etc. This one is by far my favorite though. The customization you have is just incredible. Love it.

One more thing: Sorry for the not so great pictures, I had to use my phone since I couldn't find a flash drive for my canon. It made the LEDs look more of a blue color too (they're more of a white to match the tubing IRL).

Any questions or whatever just ask! Thanks for checking this out!

Great parts list, awesome description, amazing pictures, and overall a very clean looking build. All of which, when put together, produce an upvote from me, as well as most likely everyone else who sees this build.

+1 :)

Thats one sick gaming rig. I love the Gpu and it`s really amazing that you achieved 4,7 Ghz on that 4690k. Really clean and nice build umm.... I would name it The Wolverine XD

Nice build! I'd personally add a little more rad space, but your temps seem fine +1

Thanks! I was planning on doing that when I add the RAM heatsink. I'll probably add a 200mm in the front or a 140mm in the back.

Can you add one to the top instead and get a 240/280?
