Description

This is my first modern PC build and my daily driver after spending many years maintaining/building computers and inevitably ending up working in IT. I upgraded from an Alienware M14x which become the donor to the copy of windows, the OS disk (msata) and the data disk, its my long term intention to replace these drives with an nVME SSD and an array of SATA SSD's for data storage.

I have overclocked the system at 40.5Ghz and the RAM to 2666Mhz and GPU to +175 Clock offset and +750 Mem Clock offset. which is stable at 60-70c underload on air. I have however made a mistake with the compatibility of the RAM with the Corsair LPX and would recommend consulting the below URL for compatible RAM kits for this motherboard.

Cooler is good, I’m replacing it with a Kraken x62 within the next couple of weeks.

Currently peaking at 75c but averages at 65c underload
