Description

Just something put together for the kids to do some light gaming and school work on. Storage, monitor, and PSU were extras from an old build. I probably overpaid for the GPU, but even without a window in the case, I like having the insides match and look nice together.

Hope to build my bro something like this but I hadn't even considered Ryzen!

yeah ryzen 3 is a way better alternative to i3 or pentium

now that coffee lake i3's have dropped in price that is debatable, but the ryzen 3 1300x is still cheaper than the i3-8350k so ryzen is the better budget choice.

The ryzen 3 1300x is the best CPU at that price!!!!!! (even though it isn't the 2000 series the only one in that (the 2200g) has integrated graphics so I don't want it)!!!!!!!!

Nice clean build. I am putting something close to this together for my brother in law.

Nice build, but honestly seems super overkill for "light gaming and school work" a 1050ti? that'll sure run minesweeper on max settings.

Entry PC? This thing will run any game at 1080p with High to Max settings 60FPS. Shame there isn't an SSD, though. That would really cut down the load times and boot times.

I wish I had a PC like this when I was a kid.

Nice build but I dont think this is really light gaming xD for me this is high end.

Great build, apart from the lack of SSD. Especially if you want them to do homework etc

pretty strong for just an entry pc.
