It's kinda like having the choice between the cheap but still sexy Ikea limmon tabletop or having a heavy, solid, but expensive walnut top.
It wouldn't cost hundreds of thousands. But don't even bother with a laser cutter anyway.
A hobby router will provide more than enough functionality and leave a better finish on the part with less post-finish work to be done. A light sand and the edges will clean up very nicely.
I'd look at your thermal solutions though. Airflow path could be improved my the sounds and look of it.
