Will this build work?

Will this build work? The mobo is almost 10 years old, so I'm debating whether the new RAM and video card (not yet in the system) in the following list will work. Thanks in advance.

1 x ATA133 2 Dev. Max

This brings me back.

You don't need 16GB of ram for gaming. In some scenarios, the Phenom might bottleneck the GPU. I would get a better cooler and get a stable higher OC. I loved OC'ing those chips.

Note: The ram can go as high as 1800 MHZ (900x2 effectively). I would check the QVL for the board to see if there were some modules not supported, but it accepts 1.5V DDR3

PSU is an excellent match, same with GPU.

So, the video card and 8gb of ram should be okay with this build?

Just for future reference, you replied to your own thread, not me :P

Well, what do you mean by okay? It should technically run without issue.

What is your case? What is your total budget for this upgrade?

I recommend an AIO you can transfer over to a new rig. Pretty much everything can beyond the board and CPU.
