Hey! I got some money from my family for Christmas to build my first gaming pc, (I'm 14) but i decided to wait another month for my birthday to get even better parts! If anything comes out in mid-march that's better than what I have already then please, tell me. The max for the price is $2400 so if you have any suggestions, please! Let me know.

Using your build as a baseline...this is how I would use the $2,400.

  • Upgraded to a i7-3770K.
  • CPU water-cooling added.
  • GTX670 in 2-way SLI (tried to get GTX680s but it blew away the budget to the point that might as well get a GTX690).
  • Additional secondary 1TB storage HDD.
  • Added a Windows 7 OS.

If you don't need the OS then you could add allocate or save those extra funds as you see fit.
