Hello. I am a first time pc builder and would like to know what is a good 1 TB hard drive. I would like the HHD to be reliable and fast.

Western Digital Blues are a pretty popular choice

HDD, Western Digital Blue 1TB. SSD, Samsung 850 Evo is a good deal, but if you're on a budget look for the Mushkin Reactor, it's a very good SSD.

Then there's PCIe, U.2 and M.2 drives ... Intel, Samsung, OCZ and Plextor have good offerings...
