1Tb HDD noise?

My friend recently helped build my Pc and everything seems to work fine. When I open the case and turn the pc on however, my Western Digital 1TB HDD makes a buzzing noise? It doesn't necessarily sound bad but I don't even know what a normal hdd sounds like.

Could I get some opinions?

The only noise the drive is making is the buzzing one, sorry about the fans and my phone. You'll have to out your ear close to hear it haha.

A buzzing noise is a symptom of HDD failure. I would stop using the HDD and if possible format and RMA your drive. You can check your HDD's warranty status here.

Ahh, thanks man. Yeah, it's a little loud ish but when I have my case sealed I barely hear it so I'm happy.

Buzzing noises are also failure symptoms, just that clicking is the most common / the most widely known.
