Does anyone know if this M.2 SSD is compatible with the Gigabyte Ultra Gaming Mobo? I looked at the Gigabyte website and didn't see the M.2 listed on their QVL...? Not sure if this means it definitely isn't compatible though.

SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147399&cm_re=m.2_ssd-_-20-147-399-_-Product

Mobo: http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5808#ov

Your thoughts are welcomed!

Thanks!

They can't test every single kit of ram, or ssd, but Samsung is a very reliable company and should work without a hitch

Cost (cheaper than NVMe I mean), Space saver, fewer cables

There are 3 points for SATA m.2..
