Decent Laptop under 700

Currently in AIT at Fort Sill, don't have the space for a desktop so I was thinking of buying a laptop, any recommendations that could run something like Overwatch at 60 fps at least at low settings? Something I can take with me when I probably get deployed to Korea.

I'd like to keep the price under 800-700. I was thinking of getting this laptop here. Any help?

That laptop will do the job more than fine, on the most games out there.

Some of those can be run at 1080p some others at a lower resolution.

Scroll down to the game benchmarks section.

https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1050-Ti-Notebook.168400.0.html

Also keep in mind the most games where running on an i7-7700HQ.

However, there shouldn't be a huge difference between an i7-7700HQ and a i5-7300HQ as gaming concerns.

You can read about that below:

http://laptopmedia.com/comparisons/intel-core-i5-7300hq-vs-intel-core-i7-7700hq-which-one-is-better-for-gaming-and-for-work/

Note: You should be able to run Overwatch at 1080p and high settings without performance problems with the above Laptop from Acer.

lenovo Ideapad 720s with the Ryzen processor. I can only find it on Lenovo's website, but it is a beast for what you pay for it. All around insanely good specs for the price thanks to the ryzen cpu with the vega igpu

Another similar option is the acer swift 13 with the ryzen igpu. Again, this will get decent cpu performance and decent graphics performance.

Now, if you want to get a cheapish gaming laptop (I highly DO NOT recommend this. They are nothing but problems at this price range, and I'm typing this on an ASUS gaming laptop I got at microcenter 2 years ago, but I have had to spend about 300 dollars to make using it tolerable, and cheap plastic is the material of choice on ALL these laptops, making them uncomfortable to use. and don't even get me started on bloatware) I would say this is a good gaming laptop, but again, cheap gaming laptops aren't worth the hype to be honest. They usually have really bad build quality for the sake of getting slightly better specs for the money.

Isn't the last one the one I was planning on getting?

might be. I actually saw one in person, and it may be cheap, but it REALLY FEELS cheap. Like the screen twists like a full 30 degrees if you open it wrong, everything feels like cheap plastic. I'd say that at your price range, I'd go with one of the better-made laptops.
