If you update your PC and don’t ignore the popups, it’s not normally an issue

If you don’t bother upgrading for awhile, Windows eventually goes “**** you we are doing this now”

I always have Windows fully updated all the time so I don't run into this issue, still haven't had anything screwed over yet in my ~6 years of having my own computers.

Nothing like 36 hours worth of rendering gone...

But my first set of computers had Windows 98. I dont think i need to say more.

I don't think I've had Window's update screw me over, but more than once I have been in an intense situation in a game and then it minimizes...

"Do you want to change the color scheme to improve performance?"

I've disabled it 100 times, but it somehow enables itself back pretty often.

How does changing the color scheme improve performance of your computer? It would make sense if you were improving be aesthetics, But performance wise it makes no sense at all

It wants to change it from Aero to Windows Basic to take up less system resources.

I was in the middle of a ranked match and windows decided to slap me with an update. I turned off automatic updates after that.

Windows has screwed me over when it crashed on an older system, but never screwed me over while updating

If Windows throws a pop up at me saying it’s time to update while I’m working, I just tell it to update my system during a time when I’m not working

Just set active ours and it generally doesn’t **** you up

I believe you can add enable game more (or something along those lines) in settings (maybe windows defender settings? Can't remember for sure). This reduces pop-ups during the game to a minimal amount.

Dont even mention defender I can complain about that all day
