Did I get a virus?

I was on Fortnitetracker than a fake looking virus warning came up on the webpage. The link did not have Google in it. Chrome wouldn’t close so I shut off my computer and turned it back on. Chrome opens, with my tabs open, including the fake warning. I close chrome and it opened automatically. I go to task manager to close it and I use Malwarebytes free trial, which came up with no viruses. Is there a chance I got a virus?

Chrome is only reopening because Windows 10 reopens whatever programs were open on unexpected shutoff. Chrome also reopens tabs that we're closed unexpectedly.

I am rather confident that a fake virus warning is just that, close the page, clear your cookies, full scan with Malwarebytes if you want, then move on.

A week or so before, a gray rectangle started appearing above the Windows logo. Also, it would say "In Product Messaging Application is not working" I'm pretty sure. Now, it just disappears by itself.
