Build Help/Ready: Any help would be great since this is my first build and I just started to really get into this thing. Thanks :)

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Streaming, Browsing, Editing, and Gaming. I usually don't play AAA games on PC though. But would like to play them with no problem if I decide to.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

Framrate be at least above 60, 1440p, and Ultra or high

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

$1500 but I can do a little higher if it's worth.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

United States

I would say to spend about $50 more to get a 1080 if you're looking for high and ultra 1440P gaming but that's okay. 1070ti should be able to handle such tasks.

As for everything else, it looks awesome! Go ahead and pull that trigger. Remember to take a few pictures and post it for all of us to see! Have fun!

You mentioned 1440p in your description, is this something you already have? If yes, whats the display refresh rate?

If no, whats your budget for the 1440p display? Keep in mind: 27" displays for 1440p are perfect (for the standard aspect ratio)

At 1440p I would take the GTX 1080 card which doesn't cost much more but will favour your gaming demands at ultra settings for current and future releases. If the budget is a problem you can save plenty from your parts list BY maintaining solid performance.

EXAMPLES:

  • Ryzen 5 1600X / 2600 / 2600X - only a fraction of performance difference. If gaming and streaming only the cheapest will be more than enough!

  • go with a 250gb SSD and a 1TB HD. Games performance is not affected by HDs/SSD. You could easily save over $100

  • cheaper Ryzen compatible X370 board (same performance) or if not overclocking the much cheaper B350 boards

  • RAM RGB is nice, but that $50 lighting add-on could be put to better use, if needed

Bottom line: with your budget you can easily pick up GTX 1080 paired with a 27" 1440p 144hz display for best gaming experience!

Looks great! You could get 1440p 60FPS High/Ultra settings in most games. The 1070 Ti overclocked is about a GTX 1080.
