Pc Build under $250 *NOT A GAMING PC*

I have never once attempted to build a pc. This won't be for any type of gaming. It is for my parents back home. It only needs to be able to run things like: word, PowerPoint, chrome, YouTube, and other low requirement software. Doesn't need to be crazy fast but I'd rather it not be slow. I already have a monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse. Hard drive @ 500 gb is fine. Under 250$ is the aim. Thanks.

Went slightly over, but this should be the best bang for buck wise.

Over by about $2.

that would be a good build, but I think CPUs should always have simultaneous multithreading. The AMD - FX-6300 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor most likely has 12 threads. Simultaneous multithreading could make a huge difference.
