I think I'd trade some of the fans and/or rgb stuff for a larger boot SSD; 120GB can get tight over time, and that size isn't really cost effective any more. You could also downsize the power supply to 550w (actually, 450w would be plenty, 550w would give you room to upgrade GPU and CPU).

Ill trade that RGB case fan out! Ill get a 240 gb maybe? Thanks!

a 240gb would be optimal, but i wouldn't suggest getting an a400. They're not that great as budget ssd's. I'd personally suggest getting a l5 lite 3d instead.

Just get yourself some DDR4-3200 RAM instead of 3000 and you'll be all set to go! You just want the fastest RAM possible for Ryzen. It helps out a lot.

  • That motherboard has minimal VRM cooling, which isn’t optimal
  • Bigger SSD
  • Cheaper fan kit
  • The case in your list has a closed in front, which isn’t good for airflow, Swapped it for a meshed case
  • Better keyboard and mouse
  • 27” isn’t the best size for 1080p (pixel scaling). 24” would be more optimal.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. 2 questions, what is VRM cooling, I kind of understand it, but not really, and why did you not like the Razar combo? Thanks!

  • If you look at the Pro4, you'll see it has some finned metal bits around the CPU area. These are used to dissipate heat, which becomes more of an issue with higher powered chips. (excess will kill the components).

  • To me, Razer is somewhat overrated and overpriced (especially when it comes to build quality). The keyboard in the K582 combo is also mechanical (which is better when it comes to durability)
