1000$ with Peripherals

EvilHedgehog

Location: USA

Uses: Gaming (Preferably 144fps+) Video Editing/ Recording, and Streaming

Budget: 1000$

I'll need the works, a 144hz monitor (I like Zowie a lot) Mouse, (looking at the Glorious Model O or the Zowie SC2 Divina Edition) Keyboard (I like Cherry Brown-type keys the most, but whatever is best for the budget)

I'll also need a desk, but I can find that on my own.

I shouldn't need a OS.

Thanks in Advance! :)

EDIT: The desk will be seperate from the budget

This is what I would do, but there are some variations you could make for budget reasons. I also left out the mouse and keyboard because for $40 there are some sacrifices you'd have to make if you wanted to keep it under $1000. I also didnt leave room for a desk hoping that it wasnt included in the budget, so i leave it up to you to decide what mouse and keyboard you'd want at that price point

Here are the changes you could make: You could just get a hard drive to start then swap to an ssd eventually. You could also just get a small hard drive and a small SSD but it would still be like $60-$70 so the $20 extra for way faster load times is worth it imo. You could also get a used graphics card. 1060 6GB cards go for like $150 and you can sometimes find RX 580 cards at that price point. If you wanted a cheaper newer graphics card the RX 570 8GB is always an option, but it's not a phenomenal card by any means and some titles you'd have to drop the settings on. It would be fine for esports titles though. Personally I'd say just get a mediocre mouse and keyboard for now then buy a better set later. Making a powerhouse PC should always be the priority in my opinion.

Thanks alot for the opinions. I think I'm going to make something along these lines that has the Zowie monitor i like for only 20$ more

I have a small desk already, and a garbagey mouse, so I could do with that until I can save for something better :)

Thanks for the input.

For a $1,000 budget there had to be a compromise somewhere, so I went with a good budget keyboard and mouse combo that should hold you over for now. It has a 750W power supply for upgrades, 2TB HDD for recording and a 144Hz Freesync Monitor. As for a desk, if they are too expensive maybe you can use a 6 foot folding table from Walmart.
