I’m looking to build a pc as a Christmas present. The budget is $450 not including windows. I really want the RX 570 Red Devil and I want to make sure the Ryzen 3 1200 won’t bottleneck it. Will it?

Ninja edit: Whoops forgot the part list. I’ll add it in the comments. Feel free to make any suggestions!

I want to make sure I have at least 1 RGB part so I can play in the dark and actually be able to see the PC. If there are any other cheap RGB parts besides the ram, I’d love to know. Thanks!

Few bucks more and some adjustments grants you a 2200G and a better PSU.

A 1200 should be ok. If you are willing to hunt around, though, you might be able to find a 1400 for $70-80 either locally or on ebay. The 1400 has hyperthreading, which helps some game engines.

Either one can be overclocked, even on the stock cooler, although I'd expect more from a 1400 than from a 1200.

I like the idea, however I’m on a tight budget. My dad is only willing to spend like $350 on the pc while I pay for the other $175 because that’s how much I have. I’m gonna have to convince him to spend an extra $25 to bump the budget up to $550 (this includes windows so focus on keeping it under $450) allowing me to get some decent parts. So I’d appreciate it if you could keep it at $450 at a max. And yes, I know mine was $469, but the Corsair CX is usually sold for $40, not $60 so it drops back down to $449 when it’s priced correctly.

$40, but after MiRs though, still need to pay the upfront price.

In order to stay below $525, you will need to settle with a 560.

Not really, I don’t. As I said in a comment below, the Corsair CX is typically $40, not $60. It will drop back down to $449 once it’s priced correctly.
