Corsair 280x CPU cooler suggestions

XanXussss

Hello good people. I've recently built up this PC ---> https://pcpartpicker.com/user/XanXussss/saved/#view=B92PnQ . As you can see, I have a white theme build going on. I've bought a Wraith Prism cooler from a local store to cool my CPU. It does a pretty good job on cooling it, stays at 40-45C at idle and 75C max at CPU load. The thing is it's pretty loud, most specially with ryzen 3rd Gen always boosting even opening chrome and any software. Already change my CPU fan configs to silent, still the same it will boost for a sec and will be pretty loud while browsing only. Kinda annoying.

Now any suggestions on a GOOD CPU AIR COOLER? preferably, GOOD PERFORMANCE, QUITE, WHITE,(with RGB? lol) and most important thing is the Cooler height to be not more than 150mm due to the case restrictions. I don't want to go for AIO, probably would be my last pick if I can't find anything. Any suggestions are welcome and much appreciated.

Thank you all.

Hello,

If you don't plan to overclock, any of these air coolers will work fine.

I always go bigger when it comes to cpu air coolers.

Here's why, larger fans spin slower...less noise. Large radiator cools more efficiently.

Here are a few picks for your consideration:

Hi, Thank you for the recommendations. I will run the CPU on stock and have no plans on overclocking it. However, those CPU cooler recommendations are more than 150mm in height so it will not fit on my case :(

Oops, must be late. Was about to head off to bed when I saw your post.

In this case, I'd recommend going with liquid cooling.

Here are the spec on your case for that;

Compatible Corsair Liquid Coolers H55, H60, H75, H80i, H90, H100i, H105, H110i, H115i

The H100i should do it.

Your height limit kills the RGB options for air coolers. The Corsair H100i RGB is probably the only option that has everything you want https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XzDJ7P/corsair-h100i-rgb-platinum-se-63-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-cw-9060042-ww

For air coolers, this Phanteks is pretty similar to the Wraith and might be your only RGB option right now, and a white fan https://pcpartpicker.com/product/mbbwrH/phanteks-ph-tc12ls_rgb-533-cfm-cpu-cooler-ph-tc12ls_rgb

Unless you're okay with just a white fan https://pcpartpicker.com/product/93Crxr/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h7

yeah, there are pretty limited options for a 150mm height cooler. I'm betting on the Cryorig H7 as you suggested and might swap the fan for an RGB one might do the trick. Thank you for your suggestion :)
