Will I be able to use these SSDs together?

My motherboard is an Asus Z170-E ATX LGA1151. I ordered a 1TB 970 EVO PLUS NVMe M.2 drive and another SSD (860 EVO 2TB) but I am seeing a compatibility issue that says "The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with a SATA Express port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA Express port is disabled." but I have 6 SATA GB/s ports, and I will connect it to the SATA port that is nearest to my drive bay. The SSD says it uses a SATA 6 GB/s port, so would I be fine? I am going to be using the NVMe as my #0 drive (which is the boot drive, right?)

M.2 shares bandwidth with the Sata Express you have 6xSata ports other then that free to use.

So no worries.

when M.2 slot is populated, you lose one sata port.. means you have 5 sata ports left for other sata drives. using a second m.2 drive, it will share the pcie lane with a sata port. refer to the motherboard manual to find which ports are disabled in which configuration
