Trying to keep it under $600. Opinions??

I have a spare HDD for storage. Will be using it for school and gaming. I don't really plan on overclocking. Is the FX 6300 worth it? Or should I get a X4 965 and put the extra money elsewhere?

Looks great. Maybe want to get a small hard drive for now since 64 GB is rather tiny for all the storage you will have. You can always get an SSD later and transfer the Os with Acronis or something.

Thanks! I actually already have a small hard drive but I might hold off on the ssd and just put the extra money into an fx8350 instead.

Not a bad idea.

I would change that ssd to some 500gb~1tb HDD.

Also, ddr3-1600 ram would be better

Bundling will be your best friend with a limited budget, I would suggest the AMD A10 APU, and if you need more graphics, you can shove one in down the line, and some cases come bundled with power supplies in them, but I wouldn't trust many more bundles then that.
