Right now I own a Hanns-g 27.5" monitor ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254026 ) which has been fine for the last 4 years. I use this monitor for gaming and watching TV.

So my question is a 144hz monitor really worth it at 1080p over a 60hz monitor? I don't care about 3D gaming and i own a GTX 770. My 2 choices for a second/third monitor is either a (1) ASUS VG248QE or (2) BenQ GL2460HM. Both these monitors are 24" and will be slightly smaller then my 28" monitor. I wont be using these monitors for surround gaming but more for a larger work-space.

Does anyone own both of these monitors or one simliar to the BenQ and not really notice the difference in gaming that makes sense to spend more for 144HZ?

Thank you

Hi I will let you know precisely tomorrow if that helps. I will be getting an Acer 24" 1ms 144Hz 1080p monitor from Amazon. It was $240 before taxes brand new. The current monitor I have is an Asus 24" 1ms 60Hz 1080p monitor that is definitely pretty. I think it was $160ish. I will be able to compare the two and let you know the results! I have a 780 in my system, so I should see definite frame increases.
