AMD Radeon 260X vs Nvidia GTX 750 Ti - Which is better for gameplay recording? (GVR vs ShadowPlay)

Since I had to knock down my budget due to certain reason's (my budget was $1000), these 2 GPU's are the best(?) for my budget. I would like to play games like GTA V and Skyrim at medium-ish settings at 1080p while recording at 30FPS with no frame-drops.

I want to use ShadowPlay or GVR. The 260X is slightly more powerful, but the GVR is less optimized (right?), where is the GTX 750 Ti is slightly less powerful, but ShadowPlay is much more optimized.

What do you guys think?

The GTX 750ti and the R7 260x are pretty much the same except for the fact the 750ti uses less energy. The R7 265 is faster than both. Shadowplay is indeed a little better but there's absolutely nothing wrong with GVR. And it'll only get better because it's in beta.

if you could afford i would suggest a 270 since they are very close to price wise of the 260x and 750ti.

those 2 cards are basically the same give or take 5-10% depending on each game. some games are made for amd others for nivida so each one has games that will be better than the other. i would go with the cheapest one
