I have had 6 of these drives over the years and each one still works to this day. I have never had an issue and they are super quiet when they spin up. A great "go-to" HDD.

from completed build $900 Narly AMD Rig

It was the cheapest 1Tb HDD @ 7200RPM. From a reputable brand and it is fairly quiet.

What can I say about an HDD. Seagate is always trustworthy in terms of a quality product.

Quite low noise and fast. Copied all 200gb across from a USB2.0 external hard drive in around an hour. Also I have pretty fast boot times and have no problems with programs taking a while to load.
