Since I was going itx and this was my first time building a pc, I knew I was going to need a modular or semi-modular power supply , cause I knew cable management was going to be my biggest hurdle to hop over. I've always heard great things with EVGA so I decided to go with this. It's a great power supply; it's semi modular, the cables are black and sleeved, it's quiet, it has all the connectors I needed and it comes with a 3-year warranty. No problems with it so far.
Got this one for $44. Works great. I will never go back from a modular power supply. It's so nice to be able to pick and choose what you use. Keeps cable management tidy and airflow clear.
Another Reddit recommendation. I almost got a non-modular PSU, but after using this semi-modular one, I'm very glad I didn't. The wires were a little stiff but I assume that all PSU cables are like so. I definitely like being able to choose which cables to keep plugged in. It saved me a lot of space in the end.
Love this Semi-Modular PSU for my Plex media server. Helps keep my build clean and powered.
A nice PSU. Love the sleeved cables which look 50x better than ketchup and mustard cables.
Also, being semi-modular is a really nice touch.
Semi-modular, black cables and does what it's job.
works great :) I have no complaints on this one.
Semi-modular, nice power supply.
Semi-modular, black sleeved cables, and it hasn't blown up.
500w, bronze certified, and semi-modular for $40, what more could you ask for.
