1. Great typing/gaming feeling. 2. RGB looks amazing. 3. Comfortable wrist support.
1. Pretty expensive 2. Requires 2 USB ports. 3. Requires new Razer synapse software, which couldn't find my 'old' deathadder mouse.

The only thing I genuinely hate about this keyboard is that it does not feel made to be for a gamer. Where the hell are my macro keys and why does Razer suddenly not believe in these anymore? The keyboard is good, clicky beyond belief if you like that, look no further. Me however, trying to stream I hear the clicking way too much. Even with my mic at a pretty good distance I can hear this thing going. I just want macro keys on it though so badly. I love playing ARMA 2 and 3 and without those 5 macro keys on the side like with my Deathstalker Ultimate and G910 Spectrum... I really feel at a disadvantage trying to find keybinds on my keyboard instead of having those keys very specifically bound.

I, honestly, cannot claim to know whether or not the opto-mechanical thing is really anything to be excited about.
However, for what little I know about keyboards, this thing looks and feels GREAT. The keys are light and quick beyond measure (to the point where, having used a membrane keyboard for a while, I sometimes find myself resting my fingers just a touch too heavily and accidentally pressing a key). They also sound loud and clicky and are quite tactile.
The lighting on this keyboard is beyond anything else on the market, especially with Razer's advanced lighting systems. It's just a shame that outside of its direct power, Razer Synapse is an often unstable software that has some pretty janky controls in Chroma Studio.
Also, everyone else is exactly on point: The wrist rest is VERY comfortable.
