Cool and quiet. Founders Edition because I wanted the hot air out of the case and want the premium build quality. More GPU power than I needed, but was the lowest end Founders Edition that they made. The Founders Edition cards all use Samsung memory, which is the highest quality available. This means better overclocking and higher resale value if you ever get rid of one.

Great blower style video card. Got it from a friend for cheap so even better

So, it would of course be nice to be able to go below 38% RPM on the fan. But I knew that when I bought it. Bought it for the looks.

from completed build 1st PC Build - Lessons learned...
This was the last part that I bought for this build because I needed to save more for it.
I was stuck between this "Founder's Edition" blower-style card and other open-fan cards.
In the end, in order to reduce the temps in my case, I opted for the founder's edition card. Unfortunately these cost about 50-60 bucks more than other open-fan cards.

This is temporary part, borrowed from another PC until next generation NVIDIA GPU will become available.

from completed build First Computer Build Voyage But She's No Titanic
This is a great middle of the road GPU. I wanted a 6 GB card (upgraded from a 2 GB card) but didn't want to splurge and get a Geforce GTX 1070 or 1080. I also loved the look of the Founders Edition and the price was right.

from completed build Corsair - White Build (Upgraded Paycheck, 1st Build)
Originally I wanted the Founders Edition specifically for the neon green lighting as it went along with my previous build. Now it doesn't have quite the same appeal but it still is a beautiful card and can handle everything that I throw at it. It was very expensive for me at the time but it was the standard then and is still competitive as far as price and capability today.
