Exceeded expectations, an absolute wonder!
I Choose this Cooler because is a New and Improved Version of The Already Excellent Cooler Master 212 Evo. It Keeps the CPU extremely Cool while Staying Very Quiet at the Same Time.
Great for the price! My 6600k peaks at 60 C Max at 4.2Ghz during stress test
I had a dilemma on which cooling option will a choose for this build. For now I've chose to go with air cooling. I've paired this bad boy with 2 Corsair SF120 with Red Led's for a push-pull config that keeps my rig cool and stable so far.
Solid build. It was intimidating initially but once you have secured the backplate onto the motherboard, you are good to go. Easy to work with.
Wanted the best and cheapest cooler to tide me over until I can save up for a AIO wc. Works like a char,. Ran prime95 for 1hr and temps never exceeded 85 celsius @4.2Ghz.
Picked the 212x, upgraded version of the EVO, great reviews and wasnt expensive to keep the CPU cool, as we get some warm weather in AUS. My CPU temps are about 5 degrees celcius higher then room temp at idle. What can i say it blows.
the temps of i7 4770 went down to 32 degrees idle and 61 degree in benchmark
Good cooler, but it was frustrating to install. Even after watching a million videos on how to do it properly. Got it in the end and it's a great improvement on noise/temps over a stock cooler.
It's really silent.
