This MOBO is great for the feature set, although it's starting to show it's age. Only supports DDR3 and the orange lights on the board drive me crazy and you can't disable them that i've been able to find. Outside of that, no complaints at all.

Incredible deal! 5-way optimization is nice. The PCI-E and M.2 lane sharing options are limited and confusing.

Bought this board used, hence the lower price than you'd probably find online. Had an Asrock Z97 Anniversary board that had ZERO problems with, but I wanted a little better UEFI layout and better overclocking potential. This board has more power phases and a much easier to understand UEFI as well as ASUS's excellent AISuite utility that with the auto overclocking setup, gives you an idea of what your system is capable of so you can manually enter the settings and have a bit more stability with more POWAH.

baaaad choice. I feel like I don't use half the features (M.2 socket 3, Sata Express.....). It has an 8 phase digital power design and it seemed to do well with over clocking. Also it supports sli so I could upgrade in the future.

Nothing special. I wanted to keep this build cheap and new, so this was one of the cheapest Z97 boards I could find. It also had the USB 3.0 headers I was looking for along with enough SATA connectors. Only reason why this isn't 5 stars is because the IO shield had weird metal tounges hanging out of each connector. (I'm not sure if that is normal or not as this was my first build. ever.)

I started out with an ASRock z97 Extreme 4 then got this one a year and a half later. I'm very impressed and had no problems swapping them out and reinstalling everything.

Good budget board. Overclocking isnt amazing but for 110 its really good.
