So far its working out great. Did a lot of homework before I purchased this board. I was going to give it 4 stars just because you can get similar performance from cheaper boards but I did choice aesthetics all other things being equal. It also lags in its VRM design for hardcore 8+ core OC. Know what you need and what you are using. I don't do any rendering, run multiple VMs, or any other heavy CPU work loads. I bought this knowing that it would max out my OC abilities on a Ryzen 2600 and that I would probably have to live w/o heavy OC in any future Ryzen CPU upgrade. I'm ok with that. Love everything else this board offers. Bios is great and easy to use. Overclocked my Ryzen 5 2600 like a champ!

Great board for the price. The ASUS Bios is easy to work with and it looks great. The integrated I/O shield isn't common of at this price point and is a nice touch.

Ah, the first review. What can I say? What can I NOT say? This board is astounding. Prior to this board, I had the Asus B350 ROG Strix, and I loved that board. This one takes what that one did, and amplified it ten-fold. The RGB colors on the mohterboard make me drool. I mean, RGB make sjust about everyone go crazy. While I do lvoe the RGB, the main focus is the ease of the BIOS, overclocking on the motherboard, and just how low of temps it has. Mine is running 37C idle, and averaging about 40-45C with normal load. I love it.
If you are looking at this motherboard and if you are questioning whether to buy it, then do it. Absolutely buy this board. I was skeptical at first, but onceI got everything set up, and turned on, I fell in love.

Solid motherboard, even with beating it up on my first build it didn't break. I definitely needed to look at the diagram when plugging things in a couple of times.

Not a terrible board, would like to have seen another usb header or 2, and a usb-C header........but I guess that's why this is an "entry-level" mobo.

The initial bios had some issues, but its mostly stable now. I don't recommend Asus AI suite since it seems to give my pc a lot of issues. Reinstalling windows didn't help, but removing the software suite did.

Awesome motherboard. I normally do not like paying the Asus Tax since other competitors have very similar performance and features. I did pick the Asus board for the pre-installed motherboard as well as the really nice and easy to follow BIOS. I love the easy mode as well as monitor mode. It made a noob like me able to get all the settings where I wanted and needed.

Beautiful board. I like it better than the B350 variant I had before. Although if you are using a Ryzen stock cooler, the shroud covering the IO shield will be in the way if you face the AMD logo to the left. But if you face it to the right, it blocks a DIMM slot. I will be adding an aftermarket cooler anyways and don't occupy all 4 DIMM slots so it's not a problem.

Excellent board, good features. If you get this board make sure the memory, in dual channel, is set in A2,B2.
