from completed build FIRESTORM - A PC for Productivity
Probably the favourite part of my PC, thanks to its looks and performance. It really is a beast, as it is factory overclocked and rapidly configurable. It has tremendous cooling features and a nice software I recommend installing as soon as possible. The backplate is appreciated as it is to have RGB LEDs. My only complain is that I would have preferred 8GB... too expensive though.

Working well so far, and very silent and good thermal - even under load. It comes pre-overclocked, though, and it surely chugs a lot of power compared to the GTX 1060.

With the GPU shortage at its peak, buying a mid-range GPU can be an expensive proposition. Luckily, Newegg had a deal for me just when I needed it. I got this wonderful number from Sapphire, with a good overclock, 0RPM fans, and silent operation. Performance is fantastic, not a single issue to be had.

This thing felt eerily light when I picked it up, but it seems to do ok. 10/10 would buy again over the 1060 3gb partly because it has better dx12 support, but also because it is nice to have a full proper 4gb of vram. I feel like we have been over this with nvidia before, but I could be wrong.

from completed build Cougar QBX (Secondhand build #8)
This card is actually very wide. Be sure to double check that your case can fit it. The Cougar QBX couldn't without modding (thankfully just a super simple Dremel job - on the case, mind you, not the graphics card lol).
Thermally, the card maxes out at 74C in 1080p/Ultra Heaven loops after 2 hours. Perfectly acceptable. Performance as expected.

Hot. Really hot. But it works.
Update: Over 80 degree Celsius when gaming. Searched over internet, it's ok for this card. The bad thing is the hot air filling every gap of the QBX case.

Great card for my performance range. I didn’t get the 8gb version because I don’t need anything higher than 1080p, and because i don’t do that much GPU intensive gaming anyways. Also, it looks really clean and simple. its not some weird polygon shape with ugly red highlights.

Haven't had any problems yet, though I'm using a 720p TV until I can get a good monitor. Wish I could've paid less than $250 but I knew I would have to pay a higher price because of the ethereum craze. Probably won't overclock anytime soon, but if I have to in order to get good performance I will.
