from completed build Build For My Bae

GPU: XFX GTR black Rx 480 8gb (270$- got for 200$ after sales and MIR) This card is GREAT. 1080p beast that will run any AAA title ultra 60fps. Got a great deal on it when amd announced their 500 series cards cause venders were trying to push them to make room for the 500 series. Also, it came with the option to buy blue led fans (20$) which is something I got for her since it looks so good with the build. Arguably one of the best cards at the price point.

It can be loud, but I think tweaking its fans is quite easy. So far it has performed well, even though the case has no fans to help it. Undervolting it is kind of glitchy right now.

from completed build My First PC Build

Beast of a card. Managed to overclocked to 1440 MHz at 1.175V but temps were reaching 84c The gpu fans had to be turned up as well as my case fans and it was too loud for me. I reverted to a compromise overclock of 1390MHz where my PC does not sound like a jet engine. :D
