I've never worked with a modular PSU so didn't know what I was missing, now I can definitely say modular PSU's are the way to go. Saves a lot of headache when cabling and leaves you with a much cleaner, easier to work with system.
They provided plenty of cable options, velcro ties, and a handy bag for the leftovers. Overall feels very well built.
There's a toggle switch for fan modes. Either constant on, or hybrid mode that mostly keeps the fan off and only spins the fan on when it gets warm. I have no idea how hot it needs to get to turn on because I've never witnessed the fan actually spin in hybrid mode.
I never thought I'd be impressed by a power unit!

One of the best power supplies in this price range. Very quiet. It is a bit shorter, so if you have a cutout in your case, you may see the ends of the cords. It does have nice braided cords, but the EVGA ones are nicer, in my opinion. The packaging is not as premium as some other brands, but you don’t buy this product for the packaging. Awesome value- highly recommended.

This was my first SeaSonic purchase & I'll be going back to them for my next one. It's nice when something unglamorous like a power supply comes in a package like this.

A little more wattage than I actually need, but I prefer the extra headroom.

Performance wise, it's great but SeaSonic seems to really like using mediocre fans that make an annoying crackling sound on low RPM. Also, the 24-Pin cable has about 5cm of cable (1cm after the connector that goes on the motherboard) that makes bending the cable through my case's cable cut-outs nearly impossible. Thank god cable extensions are cheap. Last but not least we have this awful coil-whine-like noise that might be normal but at least I can't hear it unless I go very close to the rear of my case. I understand that you can't avoid coil whine and some minor issues here and there but this is supposed to be a top-quality PSU with all the praise it's getting from some professional reviewers...
Edit: After 4 months of use I have not come across any major issues and would recommend this PSU to anyone who doesn't sit within half a meter away from it and is willing to buy a 24-pin cable extension to be able to tidy the stiff stock 24-pin cable.

Got a great deal on it and its 80+ gold probably a bit overkill but it was worth it and it has a 10yr warranty. Cables are sleeved and look good and are easy to manipulate where you want them.
