Fully modular, silent. Hoping to keep this for the long run.

Literally the only PSU I could find at the time. It works so I would say it's a five-star component!

I had initially intended to carry-over my old 550W power supply from my previous build. However PCPartPicker's "Estimated Wattage" let me down bigtime! It claimed 480W for my build, and I experienced overcurrent protection shutdown immediately when running any game. I later checked Seasonic's wattage estimation tool, and they claimed 620W for the same build!

So why did I pick this PSU? Because COVID-19 is a crazy time and this was literally the only PSU with a rating over 750W I could find in stock anywhere. So far, I have no complaints. It is far overkill for my power needs, but it is a well-built PSU, quiet, and comes with high quality cables with very nice, all-black sleeves. No complaints!

Got it for a great deal and it works well so far. Totally overkill for this system but I couldn't say no to the price at the time. At least I have room to upgrade without getting a new PSU.
