from completed build First Build - I tried to keep it clean
Mostly easy to work with and looks great. Have only had great performance from it. Only thing that seemed odd during building is that internal usb 2.0 were shown on the schematics but weren't there on the actual motherboard, made me improvise a bit.

X570 Motherboards seem to be a bit pricey. This one does the job and doesn't look as obnoxious as some of the other "gaming" mobos. My one gripe with this mobo is that it only comes with 2 fan plug-ins (not counting CPU), so if you have more than two fans buy some splitters.

Problems out of the box, but fixed after Updating the BIOS. The RGB Fusion software is supposedly a cheating software according to Apex Legends. Small gripe, but not worth docking a star. This is everything I wanted in the mid range board, and I'm glad the BIOS is intuitive.

Decent board with very good VRMs and specs for its price. Performance and stability are great with my Ryzen 3900X. Chipset fan is not audible over case fans and a fan curve can be set. Fan settings in general are okay, you can use many different temperature sensors as triggers.
BIOS updates come in a very timely manner as of 08/19, AGESA updates come in quickly. The BIOS itself is not very elaborate. Missing some settings I am used to at this price point and the menu layout is kind of weird in some places. RAM compatibility is good, for flawless XMP you will need BIOS ver. F4i and up. There are still some bugs with the BIOS (e.g. disabling CSM makes it laggy). Some WHEA errors need beta BIOS F4j to be fixed. The motherboard software is bad and feels dated.

Pro: It's a x570 board It's on the cheaper side of x570 boards in a good way It has access and can use all of gigabytes software So far seems to be handling light overclocking
Con: It's a cheap x570 board so it's kinda skimpy on specs.

from completed build Ryzen 7 3700X + RTX 2070 RGB (First Build)
It's a good board, but I shouldn't have gotten it.
I bumped my review down to 3 stars because in the weeks after I purchased it, I began to regret it. This motherboard is basically an expensive mid tier board. If you don't plan on overclocking, just saved 100 dollars or so and get a B450 board and BIOS flash it. If you plan on overclocking spend 70 dollars more and get a better board, such as the X570 Aorus Pro. The elite has 4 fan headers, which will need a splitter if you plan on doing anything more than what I did. The Pro has more. It also has USB C on the rear, an extra m.2 heatsink, an extra 4 pin power for overclock, wifi 6 (if you get the wifi board), better VRM cooling, a 6 layer pcb (instead of the Elite's 4 layer), which means one more CPU pcie x16 lane, and debug LEDs.

Having X570 chipset motherboard enables me to upgrade to stronger CPU down the line and not worry about compatibility, especially with AM4 socket that AMD promised to keep in next generation(s). It will also let me use PCIe 4.0 standard cards when they come out.
The motherboard doesn't play nice with the case, I couldn't get one motherboard pin screwed.
