Very good reviews as to build quality. This is way overkill for me as I won't be overclocking the CPU or memory past what XMP does, but wanted it future proof. Who knows. Something may come out that I want that can use the PCIe 4.0 slot. I used the bios updater built into the IO. So easy to use.

Pictures do not do this MB justice to how beautiful it is. Going through the BIOS is easy enough. OC Tweaker app in the bios is very easy to navigate. Updating the BIOS as soon as i could and this thing has not failed me yet.

Great motherboard overall, it is really good looking and has all the bells and whistles you could want! Some negatives: the usb 3.2 gen 2 header cannot be occupied when the graphics card is installed; Asrock did send a right angle adapter for free after contacting them though. Secondly the lights are not too good at reproducing color and the chipset fan curve should be adjusted through the A-tuning software.

The motherboard looks remarkable in a white case with its black PCB and subtle design. As a bonus, saving a PCI slot with integrated Wi-Fi is highly welcomed. The only issue I found was the lack of documentation surrounding the top M.2 slot — it shares a screw with the armour.

I enjoy this MB a great deal; however, I do have a few gripes. The BIOS kind-of sucks. It reminds me of older builds, using the old BIOS look. Which is totally fine, cause I grew up overclocking in 'em, but for those who prefer the new UEFI layouts of modern BIOS, you won't find it on this board. With that said, this board OC's like a champion! I've yet had any problem OC'ing my CPU, Memory, or GPU. VRams are great. Volts are great. Another gripe I'd add is the fact that the RGB stays on even after you shut down your computer. I have to manually turn off my PSU for the RGB to shut off.

There was some fuss about the reliability and design of this board but no issue so far. The most notable one is the USB-C connector placement. I believe that the board I got has a newer design revision so you don't have that interference with the GPU.

Beautiful board, the M.2 armour is annoying and can be finnicky to work with. Doesn't provide alot of clearance for a top radiator.

Makes up for it's bads with a lovely look, numerous features and ability to hold my GPU without sag.

My experience with this board has been a bit hit-or-miss, but definitely a lot more hits than misses. This board is definitely the best value in x570 boards as far as features and performance per dollar. The BIOS is a little wonky, but the most recent update made tons of improvements. Sometimes I have to redo my fan curves though. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if the chipset fan wasn't failing. But it doesn't need to be on if the chipset is under 70C, which it has not hit even under sustained system load in my experience. So I just keep it off under 70C and never hear it, but when the board loses my fan curves the chipset fan sounds pretty annoying until I fix the curves again. Even with all that, the sheer value of this board keeps my review at a low four stars.

I chose the taichi because it is a beautiful board that works with nearly all color schemes. I had to go with x570 to support a gen 4 nvme. No Cons
