    from completed build My Boo

This was the cheapest full size 1070 I could find and going into the purchase I was a little concerned about that, but after using it I had no reason to be. The temperatures stay consistently low and it handles basically anything I throw at it VERY well. I would say don't waste your money on a more expensive model unless... you want to, I guess.

Waited for the 1080 Ti cards to come out before pulling the trigger so I could get a little discount. Probably over kill for what I do, but it is nice to have some future proofing. Probably the best price to performance 1070 card and very neutral color wise so it wont clash with other components. Some lament the missing backplate, but you can always buy or make an acrylic one if you really want.

    from completed build Sapphire Battlestation

It runs all of the games I want to play @60+ fps on ultra without making too much noise. I also like the LED display (wish I had gone for the RGB one to sync it with the rest of my system though).

I originally had an XFX R9 390 in here, but got this less than 7 months later. What a difference. I will be sticking with Nvidia for as long as I can.

Great card! Runs The Witcher 3 on Ultra settings 1440p at 70-80 FPS

Seems to run everything really well especially on 1080p. I wish that Fallout 4 worked right and idk if that is to do with Nvidia, Amd, or Bethesda, or possibly a combination. Again this was openbox from microcenter.

This GPU definitely was worth the extra money I paid at the time, and handles every game I throw at it in 1080p like a true beast. I rarely drop below 60FPS when playing games on max settings at 1080p, even when streaming or recording. It handles workloads related to my university work easily, such as lighting rendering in Unreal Engine 4 or extremely high-poly workloads in Autodesk/Pixelogic software.

I have no intention of gaming at 4K anytime soon so don't need to worry about its shortcomings in this department, and likely will only retire this GPU after the next series of GPUs is released or prices drop significantly. I would mostly be doing this just to have a GPU that matches the CPU's capabilities.

Very quiet and efficient card. Great for 1440p gaming.

What can I say? Everyone knows this is a great card and it is. I love the light on the side for glass walled cases!
